NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 21, 2018: BSNL and Japan’s NTT Advance Technology Corporation (NTT AT) along with their partners in India, Virgo Corp, have signed a MoU to collaborate in futuristic technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT and jointly create a 5G test bed.

The MoU is in line with the vision of the Prime Ministers of the two countries — India’s Narendra Modi and Japan’s Shinzo Abe to collaborate on the Next Gen technologies and use the expertise of India in Software and Japanese expertise in Manufacturing.

The MoU was signed in presence of BSNL Chairman and Managing Director Anupam Shrivastava along with Board of Directors and NTT AT President & CEO George Kimura.

The delegation of NTT AT along with CMD BSNL later met Telecom Secretary DOT Aruna Sundarrajan and briefed about the MoU and technology solution being offered by NTT AT.
